Line dried washing,
fresh sheets on my bed,
hot water bottles in winter,
freshly mown lawns,
daffodils in spring,
a sunny sky on a frosty morning,
roaring fires and a hearty stew.
Just some of my favourite things...
Gorgeous sunrises and dazzling sunsets.
Snow on the ranges but not on my house.
Vegetable soup and homemade bread.
Mince on toast.
A cold beer after a hard day's work.
A gin enjoyed in the sun.
Pretty dresses and fancy hair.
A hug from my mum and one from my dad.
Cut flowers from my garden and roses in bloom.
My friends, my family and the one I love.
Just some of my favourite things...
The sun is shining and the day has been beautiful. Nothing like that combo to make the winter blues go away...
